Dominique is a graduate of Thompson Rivers University’s Bachelor of Tourism Management with a concentration in Festivals and Events. She is currently continuing her studies at TRU in the Masters of Science in Environmental Science under the supervision of Courtney Mason. Her research will focus on the sustainability of festivals economically, environmentally and culturally. The research with break down barriers between stakeholders and identify systems of hierarchical power while contributing to environmental standards within the festival industry in British Columbia. Dominique was recently awarded a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) Master’s Scholarship, 2017-2018 and the Graduate Student Mentor Award, 2017-2018.
