Fauve graduated with a Bachelor of Tourism Management in the spring of 2019 as the Valedictorian and Medal Winner. After developing her undergraduate curriculum to reflect her interests in tourism sustainability, she decided to pursue a research project which investigated responsible and ethical tourism at the Adams River Salmon Run located in Tsútswecw Provincial Park. This research explored whether natural events could act as a catalyst for responsible tourist behaviour. This experience ultimately led to her desire to pursue a Masters of Science in Environmental Science under the supervision of Dr. Courtney Mason. Fauve was the 2019 recipient of the Dr. Jen Sherman Graduate Award, the BC Graduate Scholarship (2019-2020), and the Canada Graduate Scholarship (SSHRC) for 2020-2021.
