Josh Koehli completed his Bachelor of Physical Education in 2009 at the University of Alberta. He worked with Courtney on a research project exploring barriers to physical activity for Indigenous youth.  Josh has worked in the recreation and physical activity field for several years since in various capacities helping to improve the physical activity and well being of those in his community. Currently,  he works in the Community and Recreation Facilities Branch for the City of Edmonton where he is able to directly influence positive physical activity and recreational experiences within his community.  Josh and Courtney published the following paper together:
