Jordyn grew up in Kamloops and has returned to her hometown to pursue a Master’s in Environmental Sciences under the supervision of Courtney Mason. She previously completed a Bachelor’s of Sciences (Hons) in Ecology at the University of Guelph, and a Juris Doctor at the University of Victoria with a focus on Environmental Law. She was called to the bar in BC after finishing a practicum year working in a variety of public law areas. Her academic areas of interest include conservation and restoration biology, land-use management, and how policies and legal structures govern human-environment interaction. Jordyn was awarded the Canada Graduate Scholarship (SSHRC) for 2021-2022.
