Josie Vayro was a Postdoctoral Fellow working with Courtney and the Rural Livelihoods and Sustainable Communities Lab from 2019-2022. She completed her PhD at the University of Calgary in Biological Anthropology, with a focus on the Boabeng-Fiema Monkey Sanctuary in Ghana. She led the primary research for a human / mountain goat conflict mitigation project in Cathedral Lakes Provincial Park in BC. This project was funded by BC Parks and the Canadian Mountain Network.
